Today, Carnival announced major repositions for three of its newer and larger ships. In September 2018, the Carnival Vista will be repositioning to Galveston, the Carnival Breeze will be repositioning to Port Canaveral, and the Carnival Magic will be repositioning to Miami.
The Carnival Vista's Galveston deployment will begin September 23, 2018. There will only be two itineraries the Carnival Vista sails, but both are 7 nights that depart on Sundays. The first itinerary will have port of call stops at Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. The other itinerary will have port of call stops at Mahogany Bay, Belize, and Cozumel. The Carnival Vista will be replacing the Carnival Breeze from Galveston. The Carnival Valor and Carnival Freedom also sail from Galveston.
The Carnival Breeze's Port Canaveral deployment will begin on September 30, 2018. When the Carnival Breeze first arrives in Port Canaveral it will sail a one time 6 night cruise which will have port of call stops at Nassau, Amber Cove, and Grand Turk. Following this cruise, the Carnival Breeze will have alternating cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The Eastern Caribbean cruises will typically have port of call stops in Amber Cove, St. Thomas, San Juan, and Grand Turk. The Carnival Breeze's Western Caribbean cruises will typically have port of calls in Cozumel, Belize, Mahogany Bay, and Costa Maya. Typically, the Carnival Breeze will depart Port Canaveral on Saturdays.  The Carnival Breeze will be joining the Carnival Sunshine and Carnival Liberty in Port Canaveral.  Carnival is offering 2 Carnival Journeys cruises on the Carnival Breeze. The first Carnival Journeys cruise is the 14 night reposition from Galveston to Port Canaveral on September 16, 2018. The second Carnival Journeys cruise is 14 nights and will depart Port Canaveral on November 3, 2018.
The Carnival Magic's Miami deployment will begin September 30, 2018. The Carnival Magic will primarily sail 7 night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Eastern Caribbean itineraries on the Carnival Magic will typically consist of port of call stops at Amber Cove, St. Thomas, San Juan, and Grand Turk. Western Caribbean itineraries on the Carnival Magic will typically have port of call stops at Grand Cayman, Mahogany Bay, Belize, and Cozumel. The Carnival Glory, Carnival Sensation, and Carnival Victory also depart from Miami.
