Princess Cruises Princess Cruises announced new dining room options that will be going into effect fleetwide for cruise ship departures on & after September 14, 2024.
Princess will be offering 3 distinct options for guests to choose from for dinner. The first option is traditional dining which will offer an early and late seating each night for dinner. Guests with the traditional option will have the same waiter, same table, and same time each night. The second option is reservable dining times where guests make a reservation each night, but can decide to have a different time or table each night. The third option is walk-ins anytime where guests do not have a reservation and can show up during the designated hours.
This new flexibility has been already offered on the Sun Princess and now it is being rolled out fleetwide. Guests sailing after September 14, 2024 will have their current main dining room reservation cancelled and on June 17, 2024 guests will be asked to select a their option under the new program. Sun Princess guests will not have their selections cancelled as the ship has already rolled out the new options. Also guests sailing on Princess ships on or before September 13th will have the old style reservation options available. Princess noted specialty dining reservations, suite, or reserve collection amenities are not affected by these changes.
