The Port of Galveston is hosting a welcome party for the Carnival Jubilee as the ship makes its arrival into Galveston. According to a recent news release from the Port of Galveston, the event is being held on Wednesday, December 20th from 8am - 9am at Piers 20 & 21.
According to the Port of Galveston, the event will feature an airplane flying overhead with a welcome banner and a tugboat with a water cannon. There will also be refreshments served. People are encouraged to bring welcome signs and cowboy hats for the event!

The Port of Galveston has been preparing for the Carnival Jubilee's arrival by renovating & refreshing Cruise Terminal 25 (formerly Terminal 1). Some of the renovations include new passenger boarding bridges, a new roof, expanded dock, new furniture, & updated finishes. Carnival Jubilee is scheduled to leave on its first cruise on December 23rd from Galveston!
