The Port of Galveston currently has two cruise terminals that are sometimes both used on the same days. A common question related to Galveston cruises I have had is regarding which cruise terminal ships usually dock at. Although the cruise terminal assignment can change or vary, this post is intended to be a general guide about which cruise terminal each ship typically or is expected to dock at.
Quick Overview Of Galveston's Cruise Terminals:
Galveston's cruise terminals are located along Harborside Drive. Cruise Terminal 25 and Cruise Terminal 28 are located next to each other. These terminals used to be called Cruise Terminal 1 and Cruise Terminal 2, respectively. This is where you will find cruise departures mostly for Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line, and Norwegian Cruise Line in 2023. Cruise Terminal 10 is located closer to UTMB on Pier 10 and is where Royal Caribbean cruise ships sail from. There are some instances where ships vary between which cruise terminal is used, but most of the time the ships uses the same terminal depending on which day of the week they are departing.
Always double check with your cruise line to find out which cruise terminal your cruise is scheduled to depart from. This will be useful information as you look for parking lots or shuttles to get to the cruise terminal. Also, make sure you drop off your luggage at the correct cruise terminal for your ship. Terminal assignments are subject to change at any time and any information on this page could be incorrect.
