Carnival Cruise Line is celebrating upcoming Veterans Day by holding commemorative events in multiple homeports across North America. Yesterday, November 6, 2023, Carnival held an event in Galveston on the Carnival Breeze in partnership with the Houston Veterans Administration (VA) to honor 150 local veterans.
During the event, Carnival presented the VA with a 15 passenger van to help assist with the transportation of veterans participating in programs. 150 local veterans were able to board the Carnival Breeze in Galveston for a tribute reception and luncheon. Each was also presented with a commemorative coin in honor of Veterans Day.
Carnival is holding a similar event in other homeports that include Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Long Beach, and New Orleans.
