Lunch in The Gathering:
Today's lunch in the Gathering was from 12:00pm until 3:30pm. Guy's Burger Joint opened at 12pm, but the Blue Iguana Cantina was closed until close to 12:30pm. The Seafood Shack was not open for lunch, but opened at 3:00pm. Below are pictures from the salad bar and Comfort Kitchen buffet line at lunch:

The dessert buffet for lunch was a good selection. Key Lime Pie was being offered, but due to being popular was running out quick. I waited 15 minutes for the crew to restock key lime pie.
Experience At Guy's Burger Joint:
Ever since cruising restarted after the Covid-19 shutdown in 2021 my tradition has become to eat a Guy's Burger on Cozumel day of the cruise. Today Guy's Burger Joint opened at 12pm and I was in line shortly after opening. Half of the venue was closed due to it being a port of call day, but the line moved very quickly. I ordered a Straight Up burger which consisted of meat, cheese, tomato, onions, lettuce, pickles, and donkey sauce. The burger and fries were served from behind the counter. A toppings bar is available right by the counter where you can self-serve sauteed mushrooms, chili, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and condiments. My burger was fresh, hot, and tasted great! |
After lunch I walked by the Deck 3 aft entrance of the Scarlet Dining Room. I went inside to take a few pictures and videos.
The Deck 5 outside Lanai area of the ship was very quiet. I walked around a couple of times and took pictures of Cozumel and the other ships that were docked nearby.
At one point in the afternoon I stepped outside and visited all the front decks of the ship to take video & pictures. I hope to eventually have a front decks tour available on YouTube.
Shortly before 4pm I looked outside our stateroom window and noticed the Carnival Jubilee was getting ready to leave. I decided to walk up to Deck 5 to watch the Carnival Jubilee leave Cozumel.
Dinner In The Crimson Dining Room:
We had dinner again tonight in the Crimson Dining Room. It was our second cruise elegant evening which meant the dress code for the dining room was a little more strict. Despite being our second elegant evening, the dining room was a little less crowded compared to the other nights because people had just gotten back on from Cozumel. Broiled lobster tail was available complimentary on tonight's dining room menu. For appetizers I had Crispy Butter Milk Calamari and Caesar Salad, for main course the Broiled Lobster Tail, and for dessert a banana split. Everything was great!

Playlist Productions Show: America Rocks!
Tonight was our final Playlist Productions show of the cruise. America Rocks was taking place in the Encore Theater at 7:30pm and 9:30pm. Doors opened 30 minutes prior to each showing. The show pretty much consisted of rock music from around the 80s. Our Playlist Productions cast once again did a great job!

After watching the show I went outside for a short walk and then went to bed.
