First Morning Walk Around The Carnival Breeze:
Although I had a night of interrupted sleep due to the maintenance crew member coming into my room, I still got up early to do a morning walk around the ship. I started taking morning walks each morning around the ship a few years after I started this blog. The morning walks are mainly to get some pictures of the ship to share here, but have also become an opportunity for me to get some steps in before breakfast. I started my walk around 6:15am and decided to begin on Deck 3 in the atrium lobby. The atrium lobby was quiet and nobody was sitting at the Guest Services desk (there was a bell to press if assistance was needed).

I started my walk around 6:15am and decided to begin on Deck 3 in the atrium lobby. The atrium lobby was quiet and nobody was sitting at the Guest Services desk (there was a bell to press if assistance was needed).
The entrance to the Ovation Theater was open so we walked in. At this time of the morning, the Ovation Theater was quiet and empty, but soon would be used for The Wave Morning Show, Fun Ashore Fun Aboard talk, bingo, and many other events & activities throughout the day.
After walking on Deck 3, I went up to Deck 4. The deck 4 area of the atrium is home to the Pixels Photo Gallery. The photo gallery was not yet open, but would soon be. The fire doors were closed on Deck 4 so I headed up to Deck 5 after a minute. The deck 5 level of the atrium is where guests can find the Carnival Breeze's shops.
On deck 5 I walked from the front to the back and passed by the Ocean Plaza, Coffee Bar, and Bonsai Sushi.
As I walked to the back of Deck 5 I passed by the Red Frog Pub and Liquid Nightclub. The Red Frog Pub had its lights off so I did not enter and the Liquid Nightclub was closed for art gallery setup. Past the Red Frog Pub and in between the Liquid Nightclub was the SEE The Caribbean Shopping Desk. This is the desk where the onboard shopping expert sits and helps guests with questions about port of call shopping. The SEE The Caribbean Shopping Show was taking place later on our sea day for guests who were interested in learning about port of call shopping. I did not attend because I have already been to Cozumel & Costa Maya. Before I left Deck 5, I walked into the Limelight Lounge at the back of the deck. The Limelight Lounge is typically used for karaoke and the Punchliner Comedy Club shows.
After walking around Deck 5, I went down to Deck 4. The upper level of the Blush Dining Room was open so I walked in. Crew members were working on setting up the Deck 3 level for the Sea Day Brunch. Brunch was scheduled to start at 8:30am. The upper level (Deck 4) of the Blush Dining Room was setup for tea time which was scheduled for the late afternoon.
The Circle C youth program lounge is located on Deck 4. Circle C is the youth program for guests 12-14 years old. The lounge consists of a dance floor, places to sit, and games. Carnival has an activity schedule for the kids that are in the Circle C group. Below are some pictures of the Circle C Lounge:
The Club 02 youth program lounge is located on Deck 4 next to Circle C. This is the youth program for guests 15-17 years old. The lounge consists of a dance floor, several places to sit, games, and more. Club 02 has a paper activity schedule too for the kids that are in the youth program. Below are some pictures of the Club 02 Lounge:
The fire doors were closed on Deck 4, blocking most areas of the public areas. Since crew members were working around these areas, I ended up leaving Deck 4 to head to Deck 10. The Lido Deck already had a few people sitting around drinking coffee. There were not people yet in the deck chairs, but later in the day the decks would be packed with people enjoying the sun.
While outside I walked outside to Deck 12. The jogging track was surprisingly empty as on prior cruises there are usually many people out jogging or walking in the mornings. The track was slippery so maybe people decided to avoid jogging on a wet surface.
The Carnival WaterWorks is located on Deck 12. The Carnival Breeze has a Twister waterslide, two small racing slides for younger children, and a DrainPipe waterslide that empties into a bowl. There is also a large bucket that dumps water on guests using the splashpad area of the WaterWorks. At this time of the morning the Carnival Breeze's WaterWorks was not open, but later in the morning would be open.
First Breakfast On The Carnival Breeze:
The Carnival Breeze offers cruisers multiple breakfast options to choose from. At the Lido Marketplace several buffet lines were open for breakfast. A continental breakfast buffet line that served pastries & fruit opened at 6:30am and closed at 10:30am. The main Lido buffet lines served breakfast from 7:30am until 10:30am. For cruisers wanting to eat breakfast tacos and burritos, the Blue Iguana Cantina served breakfast from 7:30am until 10:00am. One breakfast buffet line remained open until 11:30am for late risers, but after 10:00am the rest of the lines closed to start preparing for lunch. Cruisers that did not want to eat in the buffet could eat at the Sea Day Brunch in the Blush Dining Room (aft dining room on Deck 3). The Sea Day Brunch was open from 8:30am until 12pm.
