Towel Animals By The Main Lido Pool Area:
My morning walk started early and my first stop was the Lido Deck Main Pool. I had a feeling this would be the morning of the cruise where the housekeeping department would setup towel animals and I was correct. When I got up to the Lido Deck I was able to see towel animals around the pool and in most deck chairs. The Carnival Breeze's housekeeping department spent the morning setting up a towel animal display for guests to enjoy. Towel animals were in almost every deck chair around the pool as well as hanging from a rope above the pool. A towel animal folding class was taking place later in the morning for guests that were interested. There were a few other guests taking pictures with the towel animals at this time of the morning. Below are some pictures of the Lido Deck Main Pool and surrounded deck chairs:

After stopping by the Lido Main Pool to take pictures of the towel animals I continued my walk around the outside open decks. Sometimes the outside decks are wet and I normally try to avoid climbing or going down the outside stairs when the decking is wet. To go up to Deck 12 I went back inside and went up using the interior stairs. On my Carnival Triumph 2016 cruise I slipped down several stairs during a morning walk and on my Carnival Valor 2017 cruise I slipped on a spiral staircase outside in the middle of the Dive In Movie. On this particular incident the crew was ready to call a medical emergency, but thankfully I was only bruised. Keeping these prior incidents in mind I am always careful and use caution when moving about the ship, especially when the decking is wet.
The Carnival WaterWorks was not yet open for the day. I walked along the WaterWorks on Deck 12 and then also went up to Deck 14 to take a few pictures.
After walking around the outside decks I went inside and walked down to Deck 5. I stopped in the Ocean Plaza to take some pictures. The Plaza Cafe was not yet open, but would be open from 6:30am until 11pm to sell specialty coffees & sweets. I observed when walking by later in the day that the Plaza Cafe was popular and the crew working this area stayed busy.
One place I had not yet toured was the Carnival Breeze's Warehouse Arcade. I walked from Deck 5 down to Deck 4 in the aft stairwell. The Warehouse Arcade is located on the opposite side of the ship from the Deck 4 Interior Lower Promenade walkway. Below are some pictures of the Carnival Breeze's Warehouse Arcade:
After leaving the arcade I walked to the front of deck 4 and then down to deck 3. One area that I had not photographed much was the Dreams Studio on deck 3 and the Guest Services desk. The Dreams Studio was added during the Carnival Breeze's dry-dock. The Guest Services Desk was open at this time. Due to staffing shortages Guest Services was not open 24/7. I think hours were posted in the Carnival Hub App.
I then decided to walk up from Deck 3 to Deck 10. I walked back through the Lido Main pool area and walked by the Blue Iguana Tequila Bar. I continued walking past the Blue Iguana Cantina and then headed straight towards the back of Deck 10.
While I was at the back of Deck 10 I went inside and walked up to Deck 11. I entered the Cucina Del Capitano dining venue. This area is located right above the Lido Marketplace. At lunch this area served the Captain's Pasta Bar which is complimentary. At night this area is home to Cucina Del Capitano which serves a variety of Italian dishes for a fee and requires a reservation. I found out that starting on the cruise after ours Cucina Del Capitano was not being offered due to staffing shortages.
Breakfast In The Lido Marketplace:
Once again, I ate breakfast in the Lido Marketplace. The Carnival Breeze's continental breakfast buffet line was open from 6:30am until 10:30am. The main Lido breakfast buffet lines were open from 7:30am until 10:30am, but one line stayed open from 10:30am until 12:00pm for late risers. Sea Day Brunch was taking place in the Blush Dining Room (aft dining room) from 8:30am until 12pm. Today bacon was served, but there was no french toast. Instead of french toast pancakes were served. I ate a pancake, bacon, potatoes, sausage, and tried the scrambled eggs. I also ate some fruit and pastries.

After breakfast I walked around deck 5's Lanai. Seeing the water so blue was great!
The Wave Morning Show:
The Wave Morning Show was scheduled for 9:00am in the Ovation Theater or on the Carnival Breeze's stateroom TVs. The show this morning was hosted once again by our cruise director, Cookie, and Sr Fun Squad member, Robbie. The show consisted of several jokes, information about events taking place on the ship during our last sea day, and information about shopping onboard. Due to the towel animal folding class taking place after The Wave Morning Show the show only lasted 30 minutes on this morning. I enjoyed Cookie and Robbie's morning show throughout the cruise. They both were great! |
Platinum & Diamond Complimentary Brunch Drink:
Prior to the cruise we were notified that one of our benefits was a complimentary brunch drink. The drink was on our onboard account as no coupon was sent to our room like the pre-covid days. I went to the Blush Dining Room around 10:30am to redeem the drink coupon and the line for brunch was extremely long and guests had to check-in on the app. I decided to take a chance to see if I could redeem the drink at the atrium bar. The crew member at the atrium bar asked her supervisor if I could redeem the drink coupon and she said yes. I got a strawberry smoothie. It was delicious, but very filling! |
After drinking my strawberry smoothie I went outside to Deck 5's Lanai. Unfortunately the back of the Lanai and a whole side were closed for maintenance. I decided to walk up to the front of Deck 9 to get a view from the front of the ship.
Last Lunch In The Lido Marketplace:
Today was our last sea day, which meant it was also our last lunch onboard the Carnival Breeze for this cruise.
Below are some pictures of the Lido Marketplace main buffet line:
Today was our last sea day, which meant it was also our last lunch onboard the Carnival Breeze for this cruise.
- Seafood Shack - The Seafood Shack is located at the back of the lido buffet by the aft pool. This venue costs extra and was open from 11:00am until 5:00pm for lunch and was also open for dinner from 5:00pm until 10:00pm.
- Blue Iguana Cantina - 12:00pm - 2:30pm
- Bonsai Sushi - This dining option is located on Deck 5 and costs extra. Bonsai Sushi serves a variety of different sushi related dishes. For lunch, this venue was open from 12:00pm until 2:30pm.
- Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse (BBQ) - This dining venue is located on the Lanai on Deck 5 and is complimentary. A variety of BBQ options are served here. The Carnival Breeze's BBQ line was open from 12:00pm until 2:30pm.
- Pasta Bar - The pasta bar offers guests the ability to create a customized bowl of pasta. Essentially, guests fill out a paper form that gives options of what can be put in a pasta bowl. The form is turned into a hostess and a crew member makes the bowl of pasta. Caesar salads and garlic bread are also available. This venue was open from 12:00pm until 2:30pm.
- Guy's Burger Joint - 12:00pm - 6:00pm
- The deli was open for lunch, but was also available for dinner (it closed at 10pm).

There was no chocolate extravaganza on this cruise, which was unfortunate. I enjoyed having the chocolate extravaganza in the past on the last sea day and was disappointed to see this gone. However, the desserts that were served were still delicious. Below are some pictures of the desserts served on this last sea day:
Q& Awesome With Cookie:
After eating lunch we headed down to the Ovation Theater for the Q& Awesome with Cookie. When we got to the Ovation Theater the Military Gathering was wrapping up. The Q& Awesome was a time where guests could ask Cookie any questions about living on the ship or being a cruise director. Questions related to pay and financial matters were off limits. Some guests asked some very interesting questions and Cookie did a great job giving detailed answers. There was a drunk lady screaming in the balcony and another guest yelled at her to shut up. The Q&A session lasted about 45 minutes as Bingo was scheduled to take place next in the Ovation Theater. |
After the Q&A Session with Cookie we headed up to the Lanai to get a quick snack from Guy's Pig & Anchor BBQ. I wanted to have a bite of the collared greens, but while in line I decided to get some baked beans as well.
There was not much of a line at the Guy's Pig & Anchor BBQ when I went through around 2:15pm. This was about 15 minutes prior to the closing of the line. The collared greens were very tasty, but a little on the salty side. The baked beans were also good! While outside our cruise director Cookie came by and we briefly spoke with him. He was a great cruise director!

Later in the afternoon I went back to my stateroom to get ready for dinner. While in the stateroom I went out to the balcony to take some pictures of the water.
Since we had a lot of onboard credit from the Covid-19 pandemic cancellations we visited Cherry On Top to buy some candy. Below are some pictures of Cherry On Top:
Last Dinner In The Sapphire Dining Room:
Tonight was our last dinner in the Sapphire Dining Room. At 5:20pm, the Carnival Hub App began allowing check-in for dinner. We checked in on the Carnival Hub App and within minutes were assigned a table. When the doors to the dining room opened we were taken to the assigned table. Our waitstaff remembered our names! This was our last dinner of the cruise.

The bread choices for the night were rustic french and ciabatta. I asked for one of each and thought both were good. For my appetizers I had marinated chicken tenders and caesar salad. For main course I had the enchiladas. The enchiladas had black beans & vegetables, melted jack cheese, and cashew mole. I loved these enchiladas and thought they tasted similar to the old style smoked chicken quesadilla. For dessert I had baked alaska. The food was all very good. Below are some pictures from my table of our meals for the evening:
Sunset:
After dinner I wanted to see the sunset before going to the Ovation Theater to watch our show for the evening. I went to deck 6's front area to take some pictures. I then decided to walk to Deck 5 and went close to the back to get another picture of the sunset. Below are a few of my sunset pictures:

Playlist Productions Show: "Flick"
Tonight's Playlist Productions show was "Flick". This show had a variety of songs and soundtracks from movies. The effects in this show are very neat and the dancers & singers did a great job! The show took place twice in the Ovation Theater. One of the showtimes was 7:45pm and the other was 9:45pm. |
After watching Flick I went on a walk around Deck 5. There were a few people sitting outside in the smoking area, but for the most part the Lanai was quiet.
Once I finished walking around deck 5, I went up to the Lido Deck to get some water. Below are some pictures of the Lido Marketplace:
On my way back to deck 2 I walked in the mid-ship elevator/stairwell area. On stateroom decks the luggage carts were out. Guests that wanted to check their luggage in to have assistance had until 11pm to get their luggage outside their stateroom. Carnival's Luggage Team was collecting the luggage and storing it in bins by the elevators. Throughout the night the carts would be taken down to Deck 0 to get prepared for debarkation. When I got back to my stateroom I had a towel heart left by the stateroom steward.
When I got back to my stateroom I started packing. I only left out some clothes for the next morning and toiletries. I was not doing the checked luggage debarkation option so I did not put any luggage outside my stateroom door.
