Galveston, Texas - Cruise Ships (Current & Future)
            Galveston is a popular cruise departure homeport that typically is used by Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International, and Disney Cruise Line. Some of Galveston's cruise lines and ships are year round, while others are seasonally deployed from the port.              The Carnival Vista currently sails from Galveston year-round after repositioning to Galveston in September 2018. The ship will primarily sail 7 night cruises in 2018 and early 2019, but beginning in spring 2019 will begin sailing 7 night cruises on Saturdays. Typically, the Carnival Vista's 7 night cruises sail to the Caribbean.

             The Carnival Dream began cruising from Galveston on Monday, May 13, 2019. The Carnival Dream replaced the Carnival Valor (the Valor went to New Orleans). The Carnival Dream will primarily sail 4 & 5 night cruises from Galveston. Four night cruises will primarily leave on Thursdays and five night cruises will alternate between Mondays and Saturdays.

Based on Disney's booking engine the Disney Wonder has multiple itinerary types when the ship is sailing from Galveston.

              The Carnival Breeze will reposition to Galveston in May 2021. The Carnival Breeze will primarily sail 4 & 5 night cruises from Galveston and is taking over the Carnival Dream's current schedule (Dream is going longer voyages). Carnival used to have the Carnival Breeze sailing from Galveston, but the ship left after the Carnival Vista came in 2018.
