Getting Back On The Carnival Freedom:
Around lunchtime we decided to head back to the Carnival Freedom. In order to get back on the pier we had to go through a security checkpoint. The security checkpoint essentially consisted of us showing our Sail & Sign cards and photo identification. This process took no more than 30 seconds to 1 minute. Following the checkpoint, we were directed back into the shops on the pier. The shops were easier to move through at this time of the day because most cruisers were ashore doing excursions, shopping, and other activities.

Walking through the shops did not take too long. After getting through the shops, we continued to walk on the outside part of the pier. Here are some pictures taken on the pier:
Near the Carnival Freedom's gangway was a covered tent area. This covered tent area had some chairs as well as water available for guests. Regular water, lemon flavored water, and orange flavored water were all available for free.
Getting Back On The Carnival Freedom:
In order to get back on the Carnival Freedom, we had to get our Sail & Sign cards scanned by the ship's security guards. Each of the security guards working the gangway had a handheld tablet that was used for card scanning. Once our cards were scanned, we waited in line to go through the ship's security checkpoint. This checkpoint consists of going through a metal detector and having all belongings scanned. We were required to empty our pockets of all cameras, phones, electronics, keys, and place them in a little bucket that would go through a larger scanner. It appeared security did a very good job and paid close attention to all of the objects going through the machine. For those that wear sunglasses, be prepared to take off your sunglasses to get through the security checkpoint. The security guards were constantly asking people to remove sunglasses.
Going through security did not take too long. When I took my wallet out of my pocket one of my credit cards fell out and slipped through the cracks of the scanning machine's conveyor belt. Security was nice about it and they stopped the machine to get my credit card.

Visiting Guy's Burger Joint For Lunch:
The Carnival Freedom has Guy's Burger Joint, which is a complimentary burger eatery located on the Lido Deck (9) . Guy's Burger Joint serves several different types of hamburgers. A self-service toppings bar is available for cruisers to add lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and other toppings/sauce to their hamburgers. Fries are available for all burgers, but they are served by a crew member from behind the counter. On sea days, Guy's Burger Joint typically has a long line. However, on port of call days the line for Guy's Burger Joint was much shorter. The crew working Guy's Burger Joint were friendly and did a great job.

After Lunch Game Of Mini Golf:
After lunch, we headed up to the Carnival Freedom's Mini Golf course. The mini golf course is located on Deck 12. We played two rounds of mini golf before heading inside. The best time to play mini golf, in my opinion, is when the ship is docked. Since the wind was almost non-existent, our game was able to be played without wind interference. It was a fun game and it was nice to look at Cozumel while playing mini golf!

After playing mini golf we began to head toward the front of the ship to go inside. We walked from Deck 10 down to Deck 5.

The Promenade Deck was mostly empty as we walked around. The casino was closed since we were docked, but also many of the bars around the ship were closed too.
Before heading to the dining room, I stopped to take a quick look outside on Deck 3. I first looked out at the Carnival Triumph and then I changed sides to look at the Carnival Magic. I knew after dinner we would be sailing so I would not have any more opportunities to enjoy this view again.
Dinner #3 In The Chic Dining Room:
Once again, we ate dinner in the Chic Dining Room. Since not as many cruisers were expected for dinner, the dining room did not open early like it did for formal night. Around 5:45pm, the doors to the dining room opened and we were seated. We had the same servers as the first night. They did a great job again and the food was extremely good! Here are some food pictures from the evening's dinner:

During our time eating dinner, we began to sail from Cozumel. The Carnival Triumph and Carnival Magic both left before us. It was nice being able to look outside and see Cozumel as we sailed away. The Carnival Magic was also heading to Belize so we were able to see them in the distance throughout the evening.
Production Show - "Getaway Island":
Tonight's production show was "Getaway Island". The show was being held in the Victoriana Theater at 8:15pm and 10:15pm. However, the show's pre-show entertainment was scheduled for 7:45pm and 9:45pm. The pre-show consisted of the cruise director introducing us to the "residents" of Getaway Island. We attended the early show and it began right around 8:15pm. Unlike other Carnival Cruise Line shows, Getaway Island seemed to have a storyline that matched the singing and dancing. This was a very good show! The singers and dancers once again did a great job!
After the show I went to the Lido Deck (9) to get some water before going to bed. Since we had another big day ahead, I wanted to be well rested in order to enjoy Belize.
