The Carnival Panorama was launched into Carnival Cruise Line's fleet in late 2019 and is Carnival's third Vista class ship. The Carnival Panorama has a double occupancy passenger capacity of 4,008 guests and has a gross tonnage of approximately 133,500.
The layout of the Carnival Panorama, as well as the other two Vista class vessels, is easy to navigate. This self guided tour is meant to be a tool to help you familiarize yourself with the ship’s layout. Many of the ship’s public areas are included in this tour. Please keep in mind, especially on the cruise’s first day, some lounges or places may be closed for various reasons including events such as wedding receptions and other private functions. If something is closed and you wanted to look in that area, consider trying again at another time. I recommend moving to the next part of the tour. The tour works best if followed in order. This tour is not affiliated with any cruise line, ship, travel agency, or travel group. If you find any errors, problems, or areas without clarity please let me know. I want to make this tour as accurate & helpful as possible so please let me know of any problems! Also, please keep in mind public areas are subject to change! |
Starting Point:
To begin this self guided tour go to the Carnival Panorama's atrium lobby, which is on the Lobby Deck (deck 3). The official name of the atrium is The Panorama Atrium.
1. Panorama Atrium Lobby and Bar – Lobby Deck 3
This tour begins in the Carnival Panorama's atrium lobby by the atrium bar. The Carnival Panorama's atrium is three decks high, which means the atrium spans from Deck 3 to Deck 5. In the very center of the atrium you will see the atrium bar and a giant LED "tornado shaped" screen that has some sort of design displayed on it. This LED screen has a variety of designs and changes throughout the cruise. Around the atrium you should see many different places to sit.
On one side of the atrium you should be able to see the guest services desk. The guest services desk is open 24 hours. On the opposite side of the ship from guest services, is the shore excursions ("Carnival Adventures") desk. The hours for the shore excursion desk will vary by day, but can be found in the daily Fun-Times newsletter or in the Carnival Hub app. Right by the shore excursions desk is a few Fun Hub computers that allow guests to buy an internet plan & access the internet using that plan.
While standing near the atrium bar you should be able to see the entrance to the Carnival Panorama's mid-ship dining room. The mid-ship dining room is the HorizonDining Room. This dining room is typically used to dine guests that have traditional early or late seating.

A smaller waterslide was available in this area for younger cruisers. The entrance to the large waterslides slides is located on Deck 15.
When you are ready to continue, you will want to keep walking towards the back of the ship. After passing the WaterWorks, you should be able to look down on the ship's main Lido pool. Keep walking towards the back!
When you arrive on Deck 12 you should be in the front elevator/stairwell area. From this area you should be able to see the Cloud 9 SPA entrance. The SPA has facilities on Deck 12 and Deck 14. On the Deck 12 level, the SPA has treatment rooms, saunas, locker rooms, and the gym. The ship's gym is located at the very front of the Cloud 9 SPA. If you want to take a look at the gym or Cloud 9 SPA facilities, go ahead! This tour does not officially include a visit to these facilities. However, there are typically SPA staff giving tours on the first day so if you want a tour you should just ask one of the crew members!
From the front elevator/stairwell area, walk in the opposite direction of the ship's Cloud 9 SPA entrance. You should see windows that allows you to have a view of the ship's WaterWorks. Before you can go outside, you will have pick to exit from the left or the right. It does not matter which side you choose for this tour. You will want to walk outside.
After stepping outside, you will be in the area of the Carnival Panorama's WaterWorks. The slides and splashpad have a red, white, & blue theme which is similar to Carnival's funnel colors. One of the slides is a Twister Waterslide. Besides the two main slides, the WaterWorks contained a splashpad and buckets that dumped water. A smaller waterslide was available in this area for younger cruisers. The entrance to the large waterslides slides is located on Deck 15.

You will eventually come to the ship's SportsSquare area. One of the first SportsSquare attractions you will see is the ship's jogging track. If you look down at the deck you should be able to see the jogging track's outline with arrows indicating which direction to move. Next, take a look up. You should see two tracks that go around the back section of the ship. These tracks are a part of the Carnival Panorama's SkyRide attraction. SkyRide is essentially like a bicycle that cruisers pedal while suspended above the Carnival Panorama's outside decks. The SkyRide's entrance is on Deck 14.
Walk along the jogging track and take in the sights of SportsSquare. As you are walking on the jogging track you should be able to see the ship's mini golf course (Sky Greens). The mini golf course has holes located on Deck 12 and Deck 14. The Deck 12 level of the mini golf course is where balls & putts can be gathered for a game of mini golf. If you look up you should be able to see the SkyRide tracks, but you will also see the ropes course. The Carnival Panorama's ropes course can be entered from Deck 14 (entrance is across from the SkyRide's entrance).
While you are in the area of the mini golf course, you should see an area labeled as The Clubhouse. The Clubhouse is an area of SportsSquare that is interior, air-conditioned, and has some games. The games include ping-pong, billiards, and a small arcade style bowling lane (this costs per game to play). If you want to step inside The Clubhouse go ahead!
After passing by the mini golf course you should continue walking towards the back of Deck 12. On one side you should be able to see the ship's funnel and on the other the ocean or port of call where you are docked. As you near the back of Deck 12 you should see the ship's Basketball Court and some outside workout equipment.
