Welcome!
Due to the Carnival Elation's 2017 dry-dock many things on the ship have changed. This tour included photos taken in 2012 and is not updated to reflect the ship's changes.

Empress Deck (7)

The Empress Deck is directly above the Upper Deck (6) and below the Atlantic Deck (8).  The Empress Deck contains many guest staterooms. There is not a lot of public/guest areas on this floor.  On this floor you can find the lobby area of the atrium, Guest Services, Shore Excursions desk, the internet café, and the art gallery.  These pictures are arranged as close as possible from FWD to AFT.
I do not have very many pictures for this deck because I rarely visited it.  Next time I cruise the Elation I am going to make sure I take more pictures on this deck. The first picture below was taken on the Empress Deck of the entrance to the glass atrium elevators. The next two were taken looking down at the bottom floor of the ship's atrium.

Atlantic Deck (8)

The Atlantic Deck is directly above the Empress Deck (7) and below the Promenade Deck (9).  The Atlantic Deck contains no guest staterooms and consists of the bottom level of the ship's Mikado Show Lounge, Circle C (12-14 yr. old club), Duke's Piano Bar, The Mark Twain Library, the onboard shops, and the ship's dining rooms.  These pictures are arranged as close as possible from FWD to AFT.
The tour for this deck will be relatively short due to not having pictures for all of the very few places on this deck.

TIP!  This deck is not a good deck for crossing from FWD to AFT.  The dining rooms have a galley between them which is off limits to guests.
Mikado Show Lounge
The Mikado Show Lounge is a two story theater on the Carnival Elation. This is the area of the ship where most big events occur such as the ship's revue shows. Most of the time, bingo will also be held here.

The Atrium Area of the Atlantic Deck
The atrium area of the Atlantic Deck consists of places such as the entrance to Circle C, Mark Twain's Library, Duke's Piano Bar, and the Imagination Dining Room. Circle C is located on the port side of the ship and is the lounge for the 12-14 yr. olds' youth program. Also, on the same side of the ship you will find the entrance to Duke's Piano Bar. The piano bar is pictured in the center column below. I do not have a picture of Circle C or the Mark Twain Library.  The Mark Twain Library is located on the opposite of the atrium from Duke's Piano Bar. Between the two, you will find the entrance to the Imagination Dining Room, which is one of two main dining rooms on the Carnival Elation.

Imagination Dining Room
The Imagination Dining Room is one of the Carnival Elation's two main dining rooms. This dining room is located in the middle of the Atlantic Deck. The primary entrance into this dining room is from the entrance of the atrium. This is subject to change, but on most Fantasy Class ships the primary entrance is from the atrium.

I do not have any pictures of the Inspiration Dining Room to share.  It is the second main dining room and is located at the aft of the Atlantic Deck. The only entrance to this dining room is from the aft stairwell/elevator area of the Atlantic Deck.

Promenade Deck (9)

The Promenade Deck is directly above the Atlantic Deck (8) and below the Lido Deck (10).  The Promenade Deck contains no guest staterooms and consists mainly of onboard lounges, bars, the photo gallery, and the upper level of the Mikado Show Lounge (Main Show Lounge).  The promenade of the ship is called Elation's Way which connects many of the lounges and bars on this deck.  Elation's Way is like a "main-street" or long hallway.  The pictures of the deck are not in any exact order, but the pictures are mainly arranged from the FWD to AFT.

Atrium Area Of The Promenade Deck
The Carnival Elation's atrium extends through the Promenade Deck.  In the atrium area of this deck you will find the ship's photo gallery. When the photo gallery is open the photos are stationed throughout the atrium portion of this deck. In the atrium area you can find an entrance to the arcade and Club 02 (Youth Program For 15-17 Yr. Olds).  Also in the atrium you can find an entrance to Casablanca (casino) and the Elation's Way Promenade walkway.

Casablanca (Ship's Casino)
The name of the Carnival Elation's casino is Casablanca. The casino is located near the forward area of Elation's Way next to the atrium. In the casino you will find a variety of different slot machines and tables that you can gamble at.

The Drama Bar & Surrounding Area
The Drama Bar is the ship's Promenade walkway bar in Elation's Way. This bar has a large marquee that says something like "You Are At The Drama Bar".  When you are on the Carnival Elation it would be hard to miss the Drama Bar.  The area surrounding the Drama Bar is a popular place for activities to be scheduled. There is a small stage area with a microphone for activities to be hosted and for live music if it is scheduled.
The picture on the right below is of the Future Cruise & Loyalty Desk. It is located very close to the Drama Bar and by a stairwell that will allow you to go up to the Lido Deck. If you are in the area of the Drama Bar this desk should be easy to spot!

The Romeo & Juliet Lounge
The Romeo & Juliet is a lounge that you can enter from the Elation's Way Promenade walkway. This area of the ship has a bar and many different places to sit.

Musical Cafe
This is the Carnival Elation's Promenade Specialty Beverage and Pastry Bar. The items served here are not included in the base price of a cruise vacation. On the Promenade Deck the Musical Cafe is approximately in the middle of the deck, between the middle and aft stairwell/elevator areas.

Jekyll & Hyde Dance Club
This is the Carnival Elation's Disco. During the day this area of the ship won't be utilized much, but at night this place is filled with people dancing, sitting, or drinking at the bar. The entrance to the Jekyll & Hyde Dance Club can be found on the opposite side of the Musical Cafe from the Romeo & Juliet Lounge.

Gatsby's Great Bar
If you walk from the front of the ship to the back on the Elation's Way Promenade walkway you will eventually run into Gatsby's Great Bar. From this area of the ship you can enter the ship's aft lounge, the Cole Porter Club, where you can then continue to reach the Serenity Adults Only Retreat.

Cole Porter Club
The Cole Porter Club is the Carnival Elation's aft lounge. The aft lounge has a small stage and usually hosts events that are important, but not large enough to justify being scheduled for the Mikado Show Lounge. There are three different places to enter the Cole Porter Club.  Two are from Gatsby's Great Bar and one is from the Serenity Adults Only Retreat.  On the port side of the ship, in the Cole Porter Club, you will find a glass door that will allow you to exit to the Serenity Adults Only Retreat. The Serenity is an area of the ship for guests ages 21+ only.

Carnival Elation Lido Pool AreaCarnival Elation Lido Pool Area
Lido Deck (10)
One of the busiest decks on the Carnival Elation is the ship's Lido Deck. The Lido Deck is directly below the Verandah Deck (11) and directly above the Promenade Deck (9). On the Carnival Elation's Lido Deck there are no guest staterooms. This deck primarily consists of the ship's main pool area and Tiffany's Bar & Grill (Lido Buffet).
The front area of the Lido Deck is not accessible to guests. It is only for the ship's officers and navigational bridge crew. The Navigational Bridge is located at the front of the Lido Deck.

Main Pool & Waterslide
In the middle of the Lido Deck you will find the Carnival Elation's main pool and waterslide. This area of the ship has two outside bars (one bar on each side of the ship). There are many deck chairs located around this pool area for people wishing to spend their day by the pool.

Tiffany's Bar & Grill & Surrounding Area
Tiffany's Bar & Grill is the name of the Carnival Elation's Lido Buffet. The first part of Tiffany's Bar & Grill is outside. In that area of the ship you will find the Mongolian Wok, Grill (For Hamburgers, etc.), and Rotisserie (on the deck plan, but not sure what it actually is). These buffet lines are outside and if you are walking from the main pool towards the back of the ship you will see these buffet lines.  There is an outside drink station for guests enjoying the pool to utilize.
There are two doors from the outside into the inside part of Tiffany's Bar & Grill.  Each of these doors are on opposite sides of the ship and on each side you will walk down a long hallway before entering the main inside part of the buffet. Once you get inside the main part of the buffet you will find multiple buffet lines, the dessert station, drink stations, ice cream machines, the Pizzeria, Deli, and a bar.  At the very back of the buffet are two doors that will take you outside for more outside seating.

Verandah Deck (11)

The Verandah Deck is directly above the Lido Deck (10) and below the Sports Deck (12).  The Verandah Deck has some guest staterooms in the front of the ship. However, the Verandah Deck is mostly public outside deck. On the outside area of this deck you can find shuffleboard and the ship's ping-pong tables (unless they have been moved, which is unlikely). At the back of the Verandah Deck is a small pool area and hot tubs.

Front Observation Deck (Commonly Referred To As The Ship's Secret Deck):
The front area of the Verandah Deck contains an outside deck that some people consider to be a "secret deck".  This area is located above the Navigational Bridge. To access this area go to the Verandah Deck stateroom area and take the hallway on the port (left) side of the ship. There will be two doors that you will have to exit to get to this area. The front observation deck is directly above the ship's navigational bridge.

Covered Area of the Verandah Deck Above the Main Pool Area
This area of the Verendah Deck is located directly outside of the of the ship's atrium. Here you can find a large chess set, ping pong tables, and a shuffleboard court.  Unlike some ships, this area is covered, which means you can play these games even if it is raining outside.
The third picture below is not a part of the covered area, but it is part of the Verandah Deck's outside area.

Sports Deck (12)

The Sports Deck is directly above the Verandah Deck (11) and below the Sun Deck (14). The Sports Deck consists of the SPA, gym, and Camp Carnival. This deck has no guest staterooms.

Spa & Gym (Fitness Center)
By the front elevator bay you will find the entrance to the SPA and Gym.  There is a desk at this entrance for people to book SPA appointments or check in for their appointments. If you are wanting to go to the gym take a left by this desk and you will come to a small hallway. Walk down this long hallway towards the front of the ship and you will come to a door that will take you directly into the gym.

Sun Deck (14)

The Sun Deck is directly above the Sports Deck (12).  This deck is the highest on the ship. Please note, this deck is numbered 14 because there is no Deck 13 on the Carnival Elation.  This deck is relatively small and consists of the mini golf course and jogging track.

Area At The Front Of The Sun Deck
At the front of the Sun Deck there is an area that you can step into to get a view of the front of the ship.
