Below is some information regarding the updates and work that the Liberty of the Seas is receiving during the 2026 dry-dock:
1. Reimagined Pool Deck
The Liberty of the Seas' pool deck will be reimagined during the 2026 dry-dock. Royal Caribbean will have The Lime & Coconut pool bar and new casitas.
2. New Royal Escape Room
Guests who enjoy escape rooms will be excited to hear that Royal Caribbean is adding a new escape room to the Liberty of the Seas during the 2026 dry-dock. 3. Izumi Teppanyaki
The Izumi Teppanyaki is being added to the Liberty of the Seas during the dry-dock. It is expected this venue will cost extra on the Liberty of the Seas.
4. El Loco Fresh

5. Starbucks
The Liberty of the Seas is scheduled to get a Starbucks during this dry-dock. Other Royal Caribbean ships with a Starbucks onboard offer several of the same drink and food menu items as Starbucks locations on land with some differences including the exact offerings.
6. Routine Maintenance
A dry-dock would not be completed without scheduled routine maintenance and this dry-dock for the Liberty of the Seas is no different. Royal Caribbean can use this time out of service to perform necessary work on the Liberty of the Seas including any refreshments to the public areas that are not "big" newsworthy items to put in the press release (i.e. deep cleaning, updating of carpeting or flooring where needed, etc.).
