The Carnival Magic recently completed its 35 day drydock at the Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas. During this time out of service the Carnival Magic received some refreshed public areas and amenities. This post will discuss some of the work Carnival Cruise Line had done on the Carnival Magic during its 2026 drydock.
1. Updated Casino Space
Carnival Magic's casino had updates made. Guests cruising on the Carnival Magic can use the casino on Deck 5 and there is also a non-smoking annex casino located on Deck 4.
2. Updated Arcade
The Carnival Magic's arcade on Deck 4 received some updated arcade games. The arcade onboard costs extra to play.
3. New Mini Golf Course
The Carnival Magic has a mini golf course on Deck 12 as part of the ship's SportsSquare. During the drydock Carnival replaced the mini golf course with a completely refreshed set of mini golf holes and made some modifications to the area around the golf course. Mini golf is complimentary onboard and available during open hours.

Carnival used this drydock on the Carnival Magic to renovate some spaces in the Cloud 9 SPA. The Fitness Center onboard received new equipment. Carnival Magic's Cloud 9 SPA is located on Decks 12 and 14 (there is no Deck 13).

Carnival Magic is now the second ship in Carnival's fleet to receive a bow crest. The bow crest includes Carnival's funnel and words "From Sea to Shining Sea". Carnival is adding this on all ships (except for Carnival Jubilee and Carnival Tropicale).

Every drydock typically brings work behind the scenes or changes that are not significant enough to mention to guests. This usually includes technical maintenance and inspections to the ship's systems.
