The Carnival Jubilee offers a couple of alternative restaurants to the main dining room at dinner. One of these venues is called Chibang. The Chibang venue serves a combination of Mexican and Chinese food dishes and guests can mix & match between the two cuisines. Guests on the Carnival Jubilee can eat at Chibang for dinner one time complimentary during the cruise and each time thereafter a fee of $8.00 per guest is charged. On my recent Carnival Jubilee cruise we tried Chibang on the second night of the cruise (first cruise elegant evening) and had a great experience! This post is a review with food pictures from our evening eating at the Carnival Jubilee's Chibang venue.
Check-In: Chibang was open for dinner each night of our June 2025 Carnival Jubilee cruise. The check-in process was similar to Your-Time Dining in the Pacific Restaurant as we would navigate to Chibang on the Carnival Hub App, select the number of guests dining, and then request a table. Shortly before 5:30pm, the Carnival Hub App check-in became available and we requested a table. A few minutes prior to opening our table was assigned and the app asked us to confirm that we were on our way. Upon arriving at Chibang, we showed our Carnival Hub App and were brought to our table. The check-in process was simple and easy!
Experience and Atmosphere: Chibang is an alternative to the main dining room at dinner and was run similar to the main dining room, just with different decor and food options. The same dress code as the main dining room applied to Chibang. Since we ate at Chibang on a cruise elegant evening, we had to follow the cruise elegant evening dress code. Our waitstaff were great in the Chibang venue. Our glasses of water were constantly topped and our lead server was able to get me iced tea similar to the main dining room. The limit of two included entrees applied in Chibang, but appetizers and desserts remained unlimited. Our waiter informed us that the main courses are on the smaller side for most guests and he recommended we get sides. You can mix & match between the Chinese and Mexican cuisines on the menu.

Chibang on the Carnival Jubilee was a good experience! Our waitstaff did a great job, were friendly, and gave us recommendations. The food tasted good and the portion size was good.
