Carnival Jubilee, an Excel Class Ship

The Carnival Festivale is Carnival Cruise Line's 2027 new ship. This ship is the 4th ship in Carnival's Excel class and will have several similarities to other Carnival Excel class ships while also offering some different and modified venues onboard. There are a few venues that are already announced for the Carnival Festivale ahead of cruises being available for booking. This post will look at the Carnival Festivale's restaurants, food, and dining.

1. Lido Marketplace
The Carnival Festivale's Lido Marketplace is a complimentary buffet that has breakfast, lunch, and dinner options depending on the time of day. Carnival has not yet specifically mentioned the Carnival Festivale's Lido Marketplace, but a rendering of the back of the ship clearly shows the Lido Marketplace being available onboard. 

• Breakfast:  Exact food varies by the day. Breakfast usually includes a Continental Breakfast buffet station with fruit & pastries. A general breakfast buffet station includes rotating foods including, but not limited to, potatoes, bacon, ham, beans, french toast, pancakes, waffles, bagels, yogurt, scrambled eggs, and more. 
• Lunch: A lunch buffet is available daily with rotating selections of food. Carnival Festivale's Lido Marketplace is expected to have a dessert station, Shawarma, salad bar, and Seadogs station similar to the Mardi Gras, Carnival Celebration, and Carnival Jubilee. 
• Dinner: At dinner, the Carnival Festivale's Lido Marketplace will serve a complimentary casual buffet dining experience. Carnival changes the options nightly, but their website says a sample of options include a variety of pastas, steaks, prime rib, grilled chicken, specialty salad, desserts, and daily Chef's special. 
• Beverages:  The Lido Marketplace serves coffee, hot tea, lemonade and unsweet tea 24 hours a day. These are complimentary. Juice is also available during breakfast hours and typically includes orange juice, apple juice, and guava juice. 
• Swirls:  Carnival Festivale will have self-service ice cream & frozen yogurt machines. 

It is not confirmed if the Carnival Festivale will have self-service soda machines or pour your own beer stations similar to the other Excel class ships. 

2. Big Chicken
Carnival has confirmed the Carnival Festivale will have the Big Chicken venue onboard! The Big Chicken is a complimentary venue created by Carnival's Chief Fun Officer, Shaq, and offers a variety of fried chicken sandwiches, a fried chicken basket, fries, potato salad, and jalapeno slaw. Guests can also get chicken tenders or a basket of fried chicken. A grilled chicken sandwich option is usually available. All Day Breakfast is available typically from 7am until 3pm (hours vary so check onboard) and this All Day Breakfast menu includes Chicken & Biscuit, Three Cheese Omelette, and Biscuit & Egg.

3. Guy's Burger Joint
​Carnival has confirmed the Carnival Festivale will have Guy's Burger Joint onboard! Guy's Burger Joint is Carnival's popular burger spot that is inspired by Guy Fieri. On the Carnival Festivale guests can select from the standard Guy's Burger Joint Menu: Straight Up, Plain Jane, The Ringer, Chilimus Maximus, and Pig Patty. A Guy's Burger is not complete without Carnival's hand cut fries that are seasoned with Guy's Signature seasoning. The Guy's Burger Joint on the Carnival Festivale is complimentary.

4. Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse & Brewhouse
Carnival Festivale is confirmed to have a Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse & Brewhouse onboard. Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse & Brewhouse is what Carnival describes as "A complimentary menu featuring Guy's favorite down-home smoked-on-board barbecue and traditional sides and desserts". Carnival advertises this venue is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At breakfast, the buffet options are similar to the Lido Marketplace and are not BBQ related. This venue has a brewery (bar prices apply) and frequently has live music, primarily in the evenings.

5. New Dining Concept To Replace Chibang
Carnival's first 3 Excel class ships had a venue onboard known as Chibang. The Carnival Festivale will not feature this venue and instead have something new. Carnival has not yet released details. 

6. Pizza Palooza
The Carnival Festivale's onboard pizza venue will be named Pizza Palooza. This venue will serve a variety of complimentary pizza options. It is not yet announced which options Carnival will be selling at the pizzeria.

7. Rhythm & Rolls Deli
The Carnival Festivale's Rhythm & Rolls deli will serve a variety of sandwiches. The full menu has not yet been announced. 

8. Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse
The Carnival Festivale will have Carnival's Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse onboard. Guests will be able to make a reservation to have dinner at the Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse. The prices have not yet been announced.

9. Main Dining Rooms: Melody Restaurant & Harmony Restaurant
The Carnival Festivale will have two main dining rooms onboard. The Melody Restaurant is the Carnival Festivale's mid-ship dining room located on Deck 6. The Harmony Restaurant is the Carnival Festivale's aft dining room that will be located on Decks 6 and 7. 

Stay tuned for more information! It is expected Carnival Cruise Line will be sharing more information regarding the Carnival Festivale's dining and food options in the coming months especially as the ship's first cruises become available for booking.
