Carnival Cruise Galveston 2027 and 2028 Sailings Announced

         Carnival Cruise Line announced sailings from Galveston, Texas, for the 2027-2028 deployment season which includes summer 2027, fall 2027, winter 2028, and spring 2028. The Carnival Horizon will be joining Galveston's year-round lineup of ships and the Carnival Spirit will be repositioning to Galveston seasonally. Carnival Jubilee and Carnival Breeze will continue sailing from Galveston. This post will take a look the deployments each of these Carnival Cruise ships are scheduled to sail from Galveston for the 2027-2028 season.

Carnival Horizon
The Carnival Horizon is scheduled to reposition to Galveston in May 2027 and will primarily sail 4 and 5 night cruises. Carnival Horizon's 4 night cruises will typically depart Galveston on alternating Thursdays and sail to Cozumel. 5 night cruises will depart on alternating Mondays and Saturdays with port of call stops scheduled for Cozumel & Progreso. The first cruise from Galveston for the Carnival Horizon is May 19, 2027 and will be an 8 night cruise with ports of call stops scheduled for Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Isla Tropicale. 
Carnival Horizon is the second of Carnival's Vista Class ships. The ship offers a variety of dining concepts such as JiJi Asian Kitchen, Cucina Del Capitano, Bonsai Sushi, Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse, Bonsai Teppanyaki, Blue Iguana Cantina, Guy's Burger Joint, and much more. The Carnival Horizon offers the SkyRide which allows guests to peddle around SportsSquare on a suspended bicycle. 
The Carnival Horizon has a double occupancy of 3,960 guests, a gross tonnage of 133,500 tons, and entered service in 2018. Cruises from Galveston on the Carnival Horizon are open for May 2027 through March 2028. 
Carnival Spirit
Carnival Cruise Line has had a 4th ship seasonally sailing from Galveston (Carnival Miracle in 2024-2025, Carnival Legend for 2025-2026, and Carnival Miracle for 2026-2027). The 2027-2028 season will bring the Carnival Spirit to Galveston for a seasonal deployment. The Carnival Spirit will begin sailing from Galveston in October 2027 and sail a variety of itineraries that are 4, 5, 6, and 10 day voyages. 4 night cruises are scheduled to sail sail to Cozumel, 5 night cruises are scheduled to sail to Cozumel & Progreso, and 6 night voyages are scheduled to sail to Cozumel, & Belize. The 10 night cruises vary and have many different itinerary combinations.
The Carnival Spirit is the first ship in Carnival's Spirit class. The ship entered service in 2001, has 2,124 guests double occupancy, and 88,500 gross tons. 
Carnival Breeze
The Carnival Breeze will continue sailing year-round from Galveston. Carnival is moving the Carnival Breeze from sailing 4 and 5 night cruises to primarily sailing 7 night cruises starting in May 2027. The Carnival Breeze will have an eight night cruise for Christmas 2027 and a couple 14 day cruises offered in October 2027 and January 2028. The Carnival Breeze's 7 night cruises offer a variety of different itinerary combinations. One combination includes Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, and Cozumel. Another includes Isla Tropicale, Belize, and Cozumel. Carnival also offers a combination that includes Key West, Celebration Key, and Nassau. 

Carnival Jubilee
The Carnival Jubilee will continue sailing year-round from Galveston. The ship is scheduled to sail 6 and 8 night cruises. The 6 night cruises on the Carnival Jubilee are primarily scheduled to sail to Cozumel & Isla Tropicale. The 8 night cruises vary a little bit, but most of the itineraries available include a stop to Celebration Key in the Bahmas.
