Carnival Cruise Line has Faster to the Fun open for 2025 cruises. Faster to the Fun is a program that allows stateroom to purchase extra benefits (more info on benefits below). This post will look at the 2025 Faster to the Fun price and benefits the program comes with.
What You Get With Faster to the Fun
Carnival's website shows the Faster to the Fun program includes priority check-in, stateroom ready upon boarding, express luggage, dedicated line at guest services, priority dining reservations, priority water shuttle boarding to go from ship to shore, and priority debarkation. Faster to the Fun typically gets to board after VIFP Diamond, Platinum, and Suite guests in the boarding order. If a Faster to the Fun guest arrives after their arrival appointment per Carnival they will be accommodated in the priority check-in line (Faster to the Fun guests must still adhere to the strict final boarding time and meet that or they will miss the cruise). One thing to note is Carnival's brand ambassador John Heald posted on Facebook that for now Faster to the Fun guests can drop off their bags to the stateroom, but it is not guaranteed that the stateroom will be ready before 1:30pm.

TIP: Faster to the Fun can sometimes sell out fast. If you see it is available before your cruise and are interested in booking it, you should book because there are limited spots. The exact number of staterooms that can book Faster to the Fun can vary by voyage.

Are there cruises where Faster to the Fun is not available on?
Yes, unfortunately Carnival has some itineraries that guests can purchase Faster to the Fun. These itineraries include Carnival Journeys cruises, cruises in Europe, or cruises that depart from Norfolk. The program is now available on select cruises from San Francisco, but unfortunately this means not all San Francisco departures will be offering Faster to the Fun for purchase. This list is from Carnival's website as of 3/20/2025, but please note the homeport availability is subject to change.

Can guests with Faster to the Fun Go To Their Stateroom Upon Boarding?
Staterooms are usually closed to guests when boarding begins. Guests with Faster to the Fun are allowed to drop their belongings by their stateroom, but cannot stay in their stateroom until the designated time that all guests can access staterooms. Stateroom stewards are usually working to clean and turn-around rooms so their process is disrupted when guests come to the stateroom early to stay.

Should Platinum, Diamond, and Suite guests purchase Faster to the Fun?
If you are a VIFP Platinum & Diamond guest or a suite guest that has priority boarding benefits, you do not need to purchase Faster to the Fun for your stateroom. You should already have priority boarding that will be before Faster to the Fun guests.
For embarkation day and check-in, guests with Faster to the Fun will follow posted signage at the cruise terminal to make sure they are going into the correct check-in lines and in the designated place for boarding.

The Scheduled Boarding Order To Get On The Ship:
With priority boarding back for Platinum & Diamond VIFP guests and now guests can purchase Faster to the Fun, a common question has been who gets on first. Carnival's brand ambassador John Heald covered this question in a post on Facebook. The order of boarding is planned to be the following:
1. Diamond Guests
2. Suite Guests
3. Platinum Guests
4. Faster to the Fun
5. Boarding Times Based On Zone Numbers
Please note the Faster to the Fun program is subject to change! For more information about Faster to the Fun I recommend you check out Carnival's website. Click Here for Faster to the Fun information on Carnival's website (link will take you away from RyG's Cruise Guide).
